Dress: New Look; Shoes: Dune; Bag: Vintage
This year, Le Beauty Girl was one of the finalists for a Cosmopolitan Blog Award in the ‘Best New Beauty Blog’ category; I never even expected to be nominated, let along be shortlisted, so I wouldn’t have missed the chance to celebrate this achievement with my favourite bloggers! Last Thursday, the Awards Ceremony took place at a snazzy place in Central London called The Rose Club; so I dragged the boyfriend along to London (bless him!), put on my best dress and off I went to meet up with some lovely bloggers.
Hair: Curled with Enrapture Encode Totem Hair Styler (1,2,2)
I wore a one-shoulder black sequin dress with bronzy golden details from New Look; I paired it with my metallic gold high heels from Dune and a vintage antique gold clutch bag. I kept my jewellery very simple because I wanted the dress to be the focus of the outfit, and I curled my hair slightly at the ends to create some loose waves and add a bit of volume.
Golden, Brown, Black and Purple Smokey Eye
I absolutely loved how this makeup look turned out and I got quite a few compliments on it; let me know if you would like to see a tutorial on this look :) I went with the theme of the outfit and created a smokey eye with tones of gold, warm brown, black and a bit of purple through the crease to add some dimension. The rest of my makeup was very simple with pink cheeks and lips, lots of mascara and a light reflective base.
I had so much fun at the event and I got to meet and catch up with lots of lovely bloggers, including Holly (Holly Arabella), Amelia (Liana Beauty), LaaLaa (Dolce Vanity), Khila (Miss Budget Beauty), Sami and Lisa (Beauty Aesthetic) and Amelia (Love Mealie).
