ELF Corrective Concealer, £3.75 ELF website
This is probably the product I was most excited about from my recent ELF haul. I have heard lots about this concealer quad and now I finally got to give it a go! (Click here to read my review of the Matte Lip Color in Coral and here to read my review of the Lip Liner & Blending Brush in Red)
The ELF Corrective Concealer palette contains 4 shades of concealer to target different problem areas: nude, green, lilac and beige. As you can see from the photos above, I have several problem areas on my face; I must apologise for the bare face, but it was the only way to give you a true review of this product.
In general, I was a disappointed with this palette. The shades are all very sheer, chalky and failed to conceal most of the imperfections on my face. The only shade I thought was ok was the lilac shade; it did brighten up my face and evened out my complexion. I have dry skin, so I generally get on better with creamy concealers such as the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection and YSL Touche Eclat.
I would maybe recommend this to people with combination/oily skin and anyone looking for a cheap corrective concealer palette for a makeup start-up kit.
What do you think of the ELF Corrective Concealer? Have you tried anything similar? Let me know :)
