Best Drugstore Eyebrow Kit

A few months ago I rediscovered my eyebrows in a whole different way. Before, I struggled to get the perfect shape armed with a pair of tweezers, but ever since I started blogging, I discovered the amazing powers of filling my eyebrow with eyeshadow!

This is the VIVO Ultimate Brow and Eye Kit. It’s a palette containing 3 eyeshadows shades (light brown, medium brown and dark brow), a little brush and a gel so to set your eyebrows after you’ve finished filling them in.

My first attempt at filling in my eyebrows was with Benefit’s Brow Zings, and I was really impressed with the results: natural looking and well-defined eyebrows. Then I used the HD Brows palette, which at first I wasn’t too sure about, but now I love it.

So I was on a mission to find a good and affordable eyebrow palette, since the two above are kind of expensive. Thanks to VIVO Cosmetics, I was sent this palette a few weeks ago and boy, am I impressed!

The shades are pretty self-explanatory, and I decided to try the medium brown shade at first. The brush that it comes with is not the greatest, but it’s ok to dust off the excess, but I used my Benefit Brow Zing’s brush to draw the shape because it’s smaller and thinner. In the end, I went for a mixture between the medium and the dark brown shades to get the perfect shade that matches the colour of my eyebrows.

I only filled them in very lightly because that’s the look that I normally go for, but you can tell that the gaps have been filled and I extended a bit at the end of the eyebrow. I’ll try to do a more dramatic eyebrow to show you the proper difference, but this is just how I have my eyebrows everyday.
