Luxury Haul: Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and MAC
I’ve been naughty, girls! The most recent additions to my makeup collection are some exciting luxury goodies. Ready to see them? :)
I’ve been meaning to take a trip to the Chanel counter for a long time and there was so much I wanted to buy, but the little voice inside me said, “Behave yourself!”, so the good girl that I am obeyed and only bought one thing.
I got the Soleil Tan De Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in the shade #62 Terre Épice. I’ve heard so many great things about this bronzer and the first impression did not let me down! The packaging is gogeous; nothing screams “luxurious” like Chanel!
The bronzer comes with a lovely mini brush with brown and black fibers. The compact also has a rather large mirror, which is a definite plus!
Next stop: Yves Saint Laurent. I honestly don’t know why I’ve waited so long to get a YSL lipstick, but I finally got one.
I knew I wanted a pink/plum lipstick, that was timeless and very wearable on an everyday basis, so I chose the YSL Rouge Volupté shade #20.
Never mind the shade, I was sold on the packaging only! It’s so elegant and grown up and everytime I look at it, I smile a tiny bit. It is exactly what I had in mind, and it’s safe to say I will be using this pretty much every day!
This last purchase is not exactly a luxury brand, but it’s definitely not drugstore, so I thought I could sneak it into my other luxurious purchases.
The 3 new additions to my MAC eyeshadow collection were: Brulé, Patina and Carbon. It’s silly that I didn’t have these three must-haves until now, so I took advantage of MAC’s recent ‘free delivery’ offer to order them once and for all!

That’s about it, girls! What do you think of my luxury purchases? Have you bought anything luxurious recently? :)

I went through a phase recently where I was trying to find the perfect pale pink blusher. Consequently in the space of about 3 days I spent almost £100 on various premium brand blushers (YSL, Dior, Estee Lauder…) wasn’t my proudest moment! I then ended up finding the pink I was after in a palette that cost me £18!
