Eyes Of The Day (EOTD): MAC Satin Taupe and Nylon

Bonjour!

Do you know when you just can’t be bothered to spend hours doing your makeup? I had one of those days today and it made me realise that I don’t actually need hours to look presentable! All I need is Satin Taupe and Nylon.

I don’t mind spending a couple of minutes on foundation, lipstick, blush/bronzer and mascara, but when I move on to the eyes, that’s where I spend most of my time trying to get all the blending and colour combination right.

These two MAC eyeshadows work wonders together and there’s very little you need to do. With the help of a blending brush apply MAC Satin Taupe all over the lid and on the crease; try to keep the colour just below the crease in the inner corner of your eyes. Now with an eyeshadow brush, apply MAC Nylon on the brow bones and outside the tear duct.

If you want a softer look on the eyes, drag Nylon a bit further into the eyelid, making sure to blend it well with the Satin Taupe that you already applied. I honestly think you can get away with these two eyeshadows for day and evening makeup, just working on the intensity of the colours!

What are your two essential eyeshadows? Have you tried a makeup look with MAC Satin Taupe and Nylon? Let me know on a comment below :)
