Mini haul: John Frieda, TRESemmé and Vaseline

Hi girls!

Today I went out to buy a few essentials, and came back home with a little bit more than what I had planned (not unusual)! However, I have been meaning to buy one of the products I bought today for a long time, and I can’t wait to give it a try. The other two, I’m just repurchasing because I already love them!

So the first and least exciting, is the Vaseline Lip Therapy with Rose and Almond Oil Rosy Lips.

This a good and cheap everyday product to carry in your handbag if want a sheer pink glow but still keeping your lips moisturised and soft. Recently I bought the stick version of this product, which I talked about on my previous haul post, so I’ll keep one at home and carry the other around in my bag. It costs £1.93 in Boots.

Next, I repurchased the TRESemmé Instant Refresh Volumising Dry Shampoo, which I had run out.

This product is amazing for when your hair is looking a bit oily and dull, and you want to give it a bit of texture and get rid of the greasy look, but you don’t have a lot of time to wash or style it before going out.

Spray the product all over your hair, wait a few seconds before combing it or just running your fingers through your hair to disperse the fine white powder, and almost immediately you can see the difference in texture and the volume it creates in your hair!

You can still use this even if you have dark hair because after you comb your hair, the fine powder is not visible. My hair is dark brown and I’ve never had problems with it. Some girls still prefer the Batiste Brunette Dry Shampoo because the powder is actually brown instead of white, but my hair doesn’t look flaky at all, as long as I comb or brush it to disperse the product.

This costs £4.38 and you can choose between the normal dry shampoo or the volumising dry shampoo, depending on how you want your hair to look.

The last purchase of my little shopping trip to Boots was the one and only John Frieda Fizz-Ease 3-Day Straight.

I can’t wait to try this later today and let you girls know if its reputation precedes!

It contains heat-activated keratin protein which seals your hair to keep it straight for a lot longer after you blow-dry or straighten it, and it’s supposed to be used on damp or wet hair before blow drying and straightening your hair to get straighter hair for up to 3 days. The price is £6.99, not the cheapest, I know, but it could potentially be one of my favourite hair products, if it works well!

That’s all, girls! Please let me know if you have tried and liked or not liked any of these products by leaving a comment bellow, following me on twitter @thebeautygroup or getting in touch via Facebook on  The Beauty Group Fan Page.
