Ever since I had myhair cut and ombred, I’ve been more experimental with different hairstyles; it seems that long black hair was holding me back in my comfort zone and I just never bothered trying anything new. Now I’m a lot more up for trying new hair tools and accessories, including hair extensions. The only problem is finding a good set of extensions that matches my hair colour and also blends in with my caramel ombre.

Foxy is a UK-based company that provides lots of different hair accessories and extensions, including these Highlighted Clip In Hair Extensions, which are perfect if you have ombre or highlighted hair and struggle to find extensions to match your hair colour. They come in a variety of colour combinations and you can choose the 16 or 20 inches length. The hair is Grade 4A Indian Remy real human hair, and the set comes with 8 weft pieces. Every clip has a silicone line so the hair won’t slip, and because the extensions are made of 100% human hair, they can be washed and styled like your own hair.

I have the Brown Blonde Highlighted 16 inches set, which is the perfect length to add a lot of volume and a bit of length to my hair. Without the extensions, my hair is currently just above my chest and with the extensions straight, it goes a bit below my chest. If I curl it, it shrinks a little, but I actually prefer it like that because it sits more naturally and blends better with my own hair.

At first, when I saw the colour of these extensions, I thought there was no way it would go with my hair colour! The blonde highlights looked too light and I thought it would be so obvious on my hair. However, after I added the clips, curled and styled them with my own hair, it all blended in seamlessly! The blonde didn’t stand out that much and I really like the end result.

My main tip is to style (curl or straighten) the extensions together with your own hair; everything will look more unified, especially if you don’t have layers. Mine looked much better slightly curled at the ends! If your hair is a bit longer than mine, I recommend going for the 20 inches set.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the Foxy Highlighted Clip In Hair Extensions and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a natural looking set of extensions. They are a bit pricey, but if you care for them well, they will last you a long time.
