Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish (shade #16), £5.49 | Boots
Rimmel seems to be bringing out quite a few of new shades of the Kate Moss collection. The first shades came out nearly a year ago (read my review here), then early this year some other shades started to appear in the high street (review here), and now it seems like Rimmel has brought up even more shades.
This time the shades are more pink and nude toned, with only one red lipstick in the new range. They’ve also changed the colour of the Kate signature on the lid; instead of red it’s pink for the new shades. After much deliberation over which shade to get, I finally settled on #16, a bright coral pink shade. I won’t go on too much about the lipstick formulation and all other details because I’ve already done a full review on the Rimmel Kate lipsticks, and nothing has really changed.
They are still highly pigmented, slightly drying and clingy on dry patches, and very long-lasting. I absolutely love shade! It’s bright, but not neon bright, and it’s a great ‘pick-me-up’ colour for days when you need a bit of help looking awake and healthy! I’m considering going back for more of the new shades, but we’ll see :)
