New CID i-Gloss Light Up Lipgloss in ‘Coconut Ice’, £14.40 | Feelunique
I got this lipgloss in my July Joliebox, and it was definitely the stand out product of the whole box for me. At first I wasn’t too sure about the nude shade with specks of gold shimmer because I thought it wouldn’t suit my skin tone, but after trying it I completely changed my mind.
The lipgloss comes out very sheer but the gold shimmer just give the lips that extra wet-shine and glossy look. It looks great on its own and over the top of lipstick; the texture is a bit sticky, but not uncomfortable. As for the packaging, it has a big mirror on the one side of the tube and two little fluorescent lights that come on when you unscrew the top. I find the lights really handy when I’m trying to touch-up my lipgloss in the dark, but otherwise when they are not needed, it’s a bit annoying that there’s no option to manually turn them off.
I’ve definitely enjoyed this lipgloss more than I thought I would and it does indeed suit my skin tone. This is my second New CID lipgloss and I liked both of them so far :)
