You guys know I’m not one to blog about launches, but I just had to let you know (if you don’t already!) about this one :)
On 19 July 2012 YSL is launching the new Devoted to Fans Facebook Palette. This exclusive collector quad eye palette inspired by Facebook’s colour scheme has the traditional Facebook blue on the lid and it comes inside the famous YSL gold rectangular case.

I think it’s nice to see such a luxurious brand set a great precedent, engaging with its social network fans paying a tribute to them. It’s a modern approach that feels quite refreshing in the beauty industry; it’s good to know the big bosses out there are thinking about the brand’s fans as well as their profit and margins :)
