After reading more reviews than I can count on my two hands (all with positive feedback), I decided to give these a try. The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains are said to be dupes for Clinique’s Chubby Sticks. I believe they look very similar, but are in fact very different. The Chubby Sticks are more like a sheer tinted lip balm, whilst the Kissable Lip Balm Stains are, as the name suggests, a lip stain with a balmy texture.
‘Cherish’ is a baby pink shade and ‘Lovesick’ is a glossy fuchsia colour; how cute are they? I honestly cannot fault this product. Whilst writing this review I tried to think of any negatives but I couldn’t. They are super duper moisturising and leave a lovely refreshing minty feeling on the lips. The pigmentation is superb; it really does stain the lips, but unlike any other lip stains I tried, this one doesn’t leave my lips feeling dry and under nourished. Best of all, they are priced at just under £6!
I bought the two shades I thought were most appealing to my taste, but unfortunately I can’t say I liked any of the other shades. Please, Revlon, bring out some more pinks, peaches and nudes and I’ll buy all of them :)
What do you think of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains? Have you tried any? How do you compare them to the Clinique Chubby Sticks?
