I feel like I’ve been going on and on about Benefit over the past week, so today I thought I’d go further on and talk about my latest discovery in the Benefit Skincare Line. Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion is a smoothing lotion to prepare the face for moisturiser. I, personally, do one or the other because I find that the lotion and moisturiser are a bit too much together.
It contains Vitamin E acetate and several other ingredients to help reduce fine lines, purify and smoothen the skin. The presence of aloe in its formula is great for clarifying and soothing the skin. It leaves my face with an amazing fresh feel to it and the smell is superb. The lotion is absorbed quickly by the skin and it doesn’t leave any greasiness behind. I follow it with my foundation and I can immediately notice the glowy and dewy finish it leaves on my skin. The bottle is made of a clear green sturdy plastic material with a cork-like screw on cap. It’s quite chunky to take it travelling, but at least it’s plastic so it won’t break.
I can safely say this toner has become an essential step on my makeup routine! It’s surprisingly not talked about much in the blogopshere, and before buying it I had never even heard about it. It does, however, come with a hefty price tag, which is a big downside in my books, but on the other hand, I think this will last me for another year at least. I only use the smallest amount and it’s more than enough.
Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion is available NOW from Benefit, Boots, Debenhams and House of Fraser, priced at £23.50.
