November Boudoir Privé Box: Contents + Review

Every month I look forward to the days when the postman bring me my subscription beauty boxes. This month, however, I was a bit disappointed with my Glossybox, so the anticipation for the Boudoir Privé box was even bigger. So, here are the products featured in the Boudoir Privé box, November edition!

The packaging was lovely, as usual, just a bit on the rough side with some dents on the box and little rips on the wrapping paper, but never mind!

Dead Spa Magik Silky Body Lotion

I was very pleasantly surprised with this lotion. Despite the smell, which for the life of me I can’t find the words to describe, it has a milky texture, leaving my skin feeling soft and silky. It took 5 minutes for it to be completely absorbed by my the skin, after which, there was no trace of it on my hand. Big thumbs up to this one!

Rahua Voluminous Shampoo and Conditioner

I wasn’t particularly happy to see this in the box again. One of the first (if not the first) Boudoir Privé boxes contained 2 of these Rahua shampoo and conditioner samples, but they made my hair feel really greasy and dull, so I’m not too keen on trying this Voluminous range. Hopefully, it will prove me wrong!

Vinies Luminous Skin Mask

Maybe I was lucky, maybe it was a mistake, but the guys at Boudoir Privé included 2 of these in my box! I haven’t tried this yet, but I must admit I’m not looking forward to trying it, purely because of the looks of the content. It looks like diarrhoea – Ew! If it does turn out to be a great face mask, I might have to close my eyes before applying it otherwise it will be too off-putting!

Studiomakeup Rich Hydration Lipstick (Truly Red)

What a lovely surprise to see another Studiomakeup product in the box. In a previous Boudoir Privé box we got an eyeliner from Studiomakeup, and now we got a red lippie. It is by far one of the most moisturising lipsticks I’ve ever tried and the pigmentation is great. I don’t know about the staying power because I haven’t worn it for too long to test it, but I shall give it a proper try soon and let you know.

Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturiser SPF 6

This face moisturiser has a creamy texture, it blends in the skin easily and it doesn’t leave a particularly strong smell. I didn’t notice any immediate results on my complexion after applying it, but I liked the fact that it didn’t make my face feel greasy. I’m definitely giving this a try over a period of a week, at least, and report back to you!

Overall, I was pleased with most things in my November Boudoir Privé box, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. It was, however, much better than the November Glossybox, so big thumbs up to Boudoir Privé this month!
